Kierie Klapper Suite

The luxurious bathroom, with the bathtub centre stage, prompts the eye to look through the floor-to-ceiling glass doors towards the riverbank below. A triptych hangs on the wall depicting the Kierie Klapper and its cohabitant creatures in a delicate ink illustration and watercolour painting. The double shower and vanity add splendour to this exceptionally appointed space.

Inspired by the teal of our bee-eater, the four-poster king-size bed is dressed in luxurious fabrics and framed by a hand-painted mosquito net. Copper lamps bring warmth to the space while the open-plan design allows the magnificence of the adjacent lounge filter through. Doors open onto an intimate seating area and the private plunge pool overlooking the riverbed below.

The soothing grey and blue shades of the lounge and bar are complemented by the soft hues of the watercolour and ink artwork in the background. Help yourself to a selection of only the finest spirits and delicate handmade treats. Ceramic decanters and an embroidered Casamento chair introduce the coppery colours the Kierie Klapper and teal tones of our hero the European bee-eater.

As one of the most remote suites at Silvan Safari, the view from Kierie Klapper is not only exclusive but absolutely exceptional. The outside deck is vast and provides various areas to enjoy natural surroundings. Whether from the plunge pool, deck chairs or standing beneath the outdoor shower, gazing across the seasonal riverbed of the Manyeleti and extending downstream, there could be no more harmonious moment.
