From floor-to-ceiling windows, polished cement floors and copper finishings to bath salts, soaps and other surprises – no detail has been spared in Leadwood’s two en-suite bathrooms. The main bathroom boasts stunning views of the riverbed, especially from the large luxurious bathtub, while both offer enormous double showers and extravagant double vanities. The secluded outdoor shower is an indulgence which cannot be missed.

Soothing, soft blues and greys adorn the interior of this safari family suite. The introduction of delicate copper treasures in surprising elements bring a homely warmth to Leadwood’s family space. The master bedroom leads onto a quiet corner of deck with magnificent views of the surrounding greenery. The second bedroom commands a front-row seat to the day deck, superbly secluded and hidden by mighty Leadwood himself.

The story of the Leadwood is entwined throughout the double bedroom suite. Initially found in the delicate embroidery of the couch and ottoman, the journey continues along the walls in numerous collaborative paintings which include a myriad of animals whose lives are all connected to this significant tree. After staying in the Leadwood Family Suite, you will feel that connection too.

The iconic Leadwood tree stretches its branches far and wide over this space like a gentle giant keeping guard. The all-encompassing river view from the Leadwood Suite holds the promise of magnificent wildlife sightings – particularly from the resident elephant herds which enjoy the dense and rich grazing on offer in the riverbed below.
